A new browser version of Internet Explorer by Microsoft is due to come out soon. So what's so interesting about another update? The new version will have a special mode that allows (when activated) someone to stop the program from recording browsing history or from storing data and files related to the websites a user visits.
Some people are dubbing this the "porn version". Private browsing will allow someone to keep secret what websites they are visiting.
According to an article in Seattlepi.com , "A new privacy feature, dubbed InPrivate Blocking, lets users block select online services from tracking and collecting data about what they do online." Certainly, this can be a positive feature that may well help people from getting identies stolen, or giving away critical personal information.
But, on the flip side, how much will it encourage people to keep secrets from their spouses, roommates or parents?
I can imagine this will come with its own set of complications.
What do you think?
